At Sioux Empire Housing Partnership, we understand that busy schedules can make it difficult to attend in-person classes. That’s why we offer convenient online options designed to fit your needs.
Choose from two online learning formats:
- Self-Paced Homebuyer Education Course: Complete the class on your own schedule.
- One-on-One Virtual Session: Meet individually with a housing counselor through a live video call.
These online options are ideal for prospective homebuyers who live outside the Sioux Falls area or are unable to travel to attend an in-person class.

Self-Paced Online Course
Complete our online homebuyer education course from the comfort of your home and on your own schedule.
The course tracks your progress and is designed to meet HUD homebuyer education requirements. While you can work at your own pace, each chapter requires a minimum amount of time to ensure completion. The full course consists of 300 minutes of instruction.
To successfully complete the course, you must:
- Complete all course modules
- Achieve a score of 70% or higher
- Complete the required quiz
- Submit a household budget
- Complete the course evaluation
Upon successful completion, a Certificate of Completion will be issued and sent to both you and your lender.
